Get ready to pack your bags and be swept away to a city that will awaken all your senses! Malaga, Spain, is a hidden gem that boasts rich history, vibrant culture, and unforgettable experiences. My friend Natasha and I recently explored this magnificent gem, and we were absolutely blown away!
Our adventure began at the charming Pinar Apartments, which we were lucky enough to call home during our stay. Located right in the heart of the city, we were able to explore Malaga on foot and soak up all the hustle and bustle of this lively city. Everywhere we turned, the streets were lined with orange trees, creating a fragrant and vibrant atmosphere that we just couldn’t get enough of. We felt like we were living in a postcard!
Now, you know me — I can’t travel without trying out the local cuisine. Malaga did not disappoint in the food department, especially for us vegan foodies. Despite the limited choices in non-vegan restaurants, we stumbled across some incredible vegan eateries. Our favorite breakfast spot was Mala Leche, where we were greeted by friendly staff and a mouth-watering menu. And let me tell you, their chocolate banana bread was simply divine! We practically had to roll ourselves out of there every morning.
One of the other highlight of our trip was stumbling upon the candle shop Malqa. As a candle enthusiast myself, I was in absolute heaven exploring their range of exquisite scents and designs. The owner’s warm demeanor and in-depth knowledge about candles and their native brands made our visit to Malqa even more memorable. The scents were so enchanting that I’m pretty sure I would have stayed in that shop forever if Natasha hadn’t dragged me out!
And if that wasn’t enough, we also had the opportunity to witness a Flamenco show at El Gallo Ronco. The dancers and musicians put on a performance that was nothing short of mind-blowing. The passion and artistry that they displayed had us completely captivated and left us with an unforgettable experience. We were practically dancing in the streets afterwards!
Our trip to Malaga was nothing short of magical. From the delicious vegan eats to the enchanting scents of Malqa’s candles and the unforgettable Flamenco show, every moment was infused with wonder and delight. We fell in love with Malaga and the memories we created there, and we can’t recommend this stunning city enough. Whether you’re a candle collector or just looking for a relaxing vacation that nourishes your soul, Malaga is the place to be.
